Cancellation Policy:
A fee of ZAR 300.00 will apply to all cancellations.  If cancellation occurs before 23 July 2007 the total amount paid will be refunded (less the cancellation fee).  For cancellations made after 23 July 2007 - 50% will be refunded (less the cancellation fee).  Refunds pertaining to cancellations during October will be subject to the Organising committee's approval. 
 

B.  HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

* All rates are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and are subject to change. Rates include VAT at 14% and 1% Tourism Levy. You may cancel your reservation up to eight weeks prior to arrival with full refund less an administration fee of ZAR 100.00.  An amendment fee of ZAR 50.00 applies to all changes. The hotel has the right to charge for all nights, should you check out before the date mentioned or in case of a no show. Rates are per room per night and include breakfast.

Payments
A deposit equal to one nights stay is required to secure the hotel booking. The balance of the accommodation is to be settled directly with the hotel upon your departure. The deposit may be paid either by bank transfer or by MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Diners Club credit card. Full details appear on the booking form.

Changes and Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted to Turners Conferences in writing. You may cancel your reservation up to eight weeks prior to arrival with full refund of your deposit paid less an administration fee of ZAR100. No refunds will be possible after 20 July 2006. A deposit of 20% of the total tour value is required within 14 days of booking to confirm the tour reservation. The balance of the tour price must reach Turners Conferences 45 days prior to the tour departure date (before 1 September 2007). Any tours booked after the 7th September must be paid in full immediately.

C: Pre Conference Tour ZAR   

All tours, technical or leisure, are subject to Turners and their appointed tour operators' terms and conditions. Once confirmed, tours will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee if cancelled before 45 days prior to the departure date and a 100% cancellation fee if cancelled less than 45 days prior to the departure date. Tour Operators conditions of carriage apply.

 

MID-CONFERENCE FIELD TOUR - Wednesday 24 October 2007

The programme includes a one-day midweek conference field tour which is included in the cost of your registration fee. This tour will travel up to the scenic KwaZulu–Natal Midlands and will visit the research centres of both Mondi BP and Sappi Forests. The tour will cover various aspects of research pertaining to tree improvement, seed production, silviculture, propagation and nursery practice.

D. AIRPORT TRANSFERS 

IFor transfers between Durban International Airport and the appointed accommodation, a Transfer Shuttle will operate, on the hour, every hour, on the 21st and 22nd October 2007. Return Transfers between appointed accommodation and Durban International Airport, will operate according to a fixed schedule on the 26th and 27th of October 2007.
